Our Q1 Learnings

Creating, Keeping, and Growing Momentum: Our Q1 Learnings

At the start of Q1, we set ourselves four clear business priorities:

  1. Strengthen vendor partnerships
  2. Go deeper in core segments: QSR, convenience, grocery, cannabis
  3. Expand our dealer network (especially desktop solutions)
  4. Build a lean, high-performing team

We delivered on all four, and more importantly, we built real momentum by securing deployments across multiple segments and a pipeline that will keep us busy well into Q2.

What mattered most in Q1

The most valuable thing we did wasn’t closing deals. It was being on-site, in-store, and in the middle of our customers’ operations.

What we saw reinforced that U.S. businesses don’t need another vendor with a product pitch. They need a partner who listens, understands complexity, and stays to ensure the solution actually works for them.

That’s always been our philosophy. Q1 showed us just how rare it still is, and how much our customers value it when they find it, so we leaned into it.

Expanding what we can deliver

Our deep industry relationships allowed us to move quickly on customer demand, broadening our vendor ecosystem and adding capabilities beyond core cash handling into data capture and retail tech.

Cash automation remains our foundation, and a broader portfolio means we can respond to what customers actually ask for, drawing on everything we’ve learned about how their operations actually work.

Our most important hire: Head of Customer Success

Technology only delivers value if it’s properly adopted, and that takes support, guidance, and someone who stays with you through the change. That’s why we created this role.

Our Head of Customer Success will walk alongside every customer, from the first conversation through deployment and adoption, and beyond, to ensure solutions become part of their daily rhythm and deliver their full value.

This role ties together customer relationships, vendor expertise, and real execution on the ground, and it’s going to matter a lot as we scale.

Fixing the entire cash ecosystem

As experts in cash automation, we’ve always seen the provision, management, and banking of cash as one connected system – one that delivers the best results when treated as a whole.

In Q1, we partnered with key players in armored transport and banking to create a more integrated cash cycle for our customers: from ordering cash, to handling it in-store, to deposit, with real-time visibility and cleaner reconciliation.

At store level, what we’re really doing is: reduce the friction, eliminate the manual work, and give businesses back the time and headspace to focus on what actually matters: serving customers.

Looking ahead to Q2

We’re entering Q2 with a strong pipeline and a clear focus on execution:

  • Get closer to customers through events and engagement
  • Continue refining segment-specific solutions
  • Invest in the team to scale the right way

The clearest lesson from Q1 is that when you truly listen to customers, they’ll tell you exactly what they need. You just have to show up and deliver.

Cheers to building momentum… and enjoying a well-earned glass of Bridge Chardonnay along the way 🍷
